After traveling through more than 25 different airlines, Pegasus is the worst so far. For an international travel experience in a flight longer than 4 hours, you expect the basic services like a free cup of water, an entertainment system, a seat where your legs fit, at least reclining, and a kind service from the crew. Nothing, nothing like that is offered on this airline. This is clearly the poorest service that not even local flights dare to do and I hope never, ever have to flight with this airline in my life. Although the web address is a clue of the service: flypgs.com; one additional “i” in the middle and clearly describe the airline.

I traveled with Pegasus Airlines on Monday, 2nd June 2025, and unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of terrible. From the moment I boarded, the staff were incredibly rude and dismissive. Their behavior gave the impression that they couldn’t wait to get rid of passengers, and this only worsened upon arrival in Georgia. The handling at the airport was appalling. When I got to the baggage claim area, my suitcase was nowhere to be found. After waiting 20–30 minutes, I went to the Lost & Found desk, hoping for assistance. Instead, I was met with hostility and an unprofessional attitude. The staff spoke in a rude, condescending manner, and I was even shouted at — a deeply embarrassing and demeaning experience. Rather than offering help, they acted as though I was bothering them by simply asking for support. To make matters worse, we were promised updates and told they’d keep us informed. But no one ever followed up. We tried calling multiple times and received no meaningful help. Eventually, we gave up. It’s now been four days, and we still have no idea where the luggage is — whether it’s stuck in London, Turkey, or simply lost for good. If you're an elderly traveler or someone who relies on basic respect and decency during your journey, **please be extremely cautious with Pegasus Airlines**. They treat passengers, especially vulnerable ones, with little to no dignity. The Lost Property service at Georgia airport is utterly ineffective. Frankly, even machines would offer more empathy and clarity than what we experienced. My holiday was ruined by this ordeal, and the complete lack of support made it worse. **Final advice:** Avoid Pegasus Airlines if you can. If you must fly with them, **do not check in your luggage** — there’s no guarantee you’ll see it again, and if you don’t, don’t expect help. You're on your own.

The worst airline I have ever known. I would never recommend them. They lost my luggage, and it still hasn’t been found after about a month. They do nothing and don’t care about their passengers—they only care about money.

We were travelling from Paris to Saint-Petersburg with an overnight transfer in Istanbul. The morning we arrived back to the Sabiha Gokcen airport, we found it way too overcrowded. Luckily, as we thought then, we had our baggage checked in and only needed to cross the border and pass the security control. The navigation in the airport is confusing, and we took the wrong line serving only the Turkish citizens. The border security officer refused to let us through and sent us to another line. After the security check, we finally saw the departure information screen. It said the gate is closing, in Turkish. We rushed to the gate and found no one at the desk. 20 minutes before the scheduled departure, they left it. This was the first time I missed my flight. Probably, the first time in my experience when the gate was closed so soon, too. As instructed, we went to the Pegasus office. The office is a tiny desk with only one person actually doing something. We spent whole two hours there just to get through the line, or more like a crowd, with lots of Turkish people swearing and shouting at the staff. There were many people of other nationalities too, people traveling with children, people having no money to buy another ticket, people with disabilities. There was no Pegasus representative to manage the crowd, there was no announcement, nothing. When we finally had a word with the person at the desk, he told us than the only thing he can help us with is buying another ticket for the next day at a full price. No refund, no discount, nothing. And he asked me to give him my credit card details: number, name, date and the security code to buy the new ticket. Now that's some mythological creature! I told him that it was a scam, and I could buy tickets from another company for the same day at a lower price. We were given the option to leave the airport and to do that we had to wait for some other Pegasus employee to guide us through the border control, that was another 30 minutes. Long story short, it's been 14 days and we still have no information about our baggage. We arrived to the Saint-Petersburg airport where, we thought, our baggage would be waiting for us. It turned out they take the baggage off the plane if you miss your flight. So, the airport is heavily overcrowded. 20 minutes before the departure, we are at the gate. It is closed and there's no one there. Pegasus representative at the nearby gate tells us that we need to go to their office. The actual departure is delayed for 30 minutes, probably because they need to find the baggage and unload it. And then, no one tells us that we need to collect it before leaving the airport. When we arrived to Sabiha Gokcen from Paris, we saw a huge pile of bags and suitcases all over the baggage claim area. The pile was secured with a strap, branded Pegasus. So, today is the 14th day our suitcases are buried somewhere in that pile. There's no update to our lost baggage ticket, nothing. Don't fly pgs. P.S. They have a dysfunctional website, that doesn't have all the webpages in all the languages listed, the support form is buried somewhere (I called the hotline to find it, it is fun, believe me). Now, they send automatic messages to me, asking me to wait for their reply and to check the status of my luggage in the meantime. The link they give in the email doesn't work but if you prepend www to it the webpage will show up, or maybe not as the Luggage Tracking constantly gives you 500 Server Error. They don't provide file reference in those emails, so I called the hotline and now I know its not in their system, or they gave me the wrong one. There's an email of their manager but you cannot send messages to it, as their inbox is full.

the staff and cabin crew were rude not smiling and not helpful at all. 2 H delays in flight without any notice from airline suddenly no cabin stroller in the cabin although it fits and not crowded plane they weren't helpful with our 2 years baby and didn't hand us the stroller on the plane door worst 2 flights of my life. will never book again on this shit company Note: i flew with this company around 10 times

I highly do not recommend Pegasus Airlines. As I was flying back to Beirut from Istanbul, a women from the airlines stopped me at the gate to check the weight of my carry on (that was already approved at the check-in) and obliged me to pay 100$ for the extra 2kg!! She was very mean, impolite, unprofessional and unethical. She was talking to me in an unacceptable was, saying unacceptable words and repeatedly told me that she won't let me get on board without paying or she will throw away my baggage. On the website of the airline there is no mention of 100$ for 2 extra kg, they don't answer nor reply. No wonder Pegasus Airlines seems to be the 'cheapest' airlines... they know other ways in stealing the client's money. Surely, no one I know will ever use Pegasus.

Pleasantly surprised, the cabin was clean, the crew was efficient (almost friendly), and seat distancing was good. Pretty good for a budget carrier.

This airlines are the worst in the world. They are cheeters, I paid $1,000 for extra baggage. That is not all, they are very rude, the employees look like gangsters not customer service representatives. Turkey is a beautiful country, but people like these rude and stupid made turkey the worst vacation for all of us

My husband and I have traveled extensively since for the past 1.5 years We have used several airlines including Turkish Airlines, LOT, Lufthansa and Pegasus in the past. The extremely poor customer service of Pegasus Air in Prague, Czech Republic, will assure we will avoid this airline in the future. We traveled from Istanbul to Prague with absolutely no issues. Our return flight was not the same. At the airport, the extremely rude representative refused the very same in cabin bags that we had brought from Istanbul, claiming they were too big. We have taken these same bags in the cabins of every airline we have flown in the last 1.5 years. Not only did she refuse the bags but we were charged 104 Eu.Imagine our frustration when we were boarding the plane and saw many bags as large or larger than ours entering the cabin and being stored in the overhead bins.

As fleet average age, they have youngest low cost airline fleet in the Europe, reliable, nice and kind staff, you can change your seat whenever you want, I mean other low cost dumb airlines ask for money, I think quite good for a low cost airliner

Flew with them from Istanbul to London. They changed the departure gate without making a clear announcement till quite late. No entertainment or food, which was to be expected, but the seats were the most uncomfortable of any budget airline I’ve ever been on. When we arrived they didn’t bring an air bridge for about 20 minutes and our luggage didn’t arrive until an hour and a bit after getting through passport control. Cheap but still not quite value for money.

After a motorcycle accident in Indonesia and a 20-hour journey with a stitched wound on my arm, sprained foot and chest, which I informed the check-in agent as well as her supervisor about, I was sent to the sales counter to pay for 1(!) kg of excess baggage worth 8 TL / 2 USD. Can it get any more pathetic?! NO MORE PEGASUS AIRLINES.

Cette fois ci c’est décidé je préfère payer plus cher que de me mettre dans un avion qui a mon avis n’est plus du tout au norme a l'achat de 2 menus la dame me parle en turque, j'ai demandé qu'elle me parle plutot en anglais car je ne comprend pas ca langue , elle est devenue par la suite en colère en continuant a m'insulter a sa langue que je peux que deviner.. la serise sur le gateau etais en payant avec carte visa, elle parlait soudainement en anglais en disant , i will charge you 10 EURO because you bill is under 50 EURO.. la facture etait en tout de 46 EURO.!!! Moi je dirais que plus de 90% des passager sont mécontent de PEGASUS!! car ce n’est pas une compagnie fiable. le retour avec 2 heures du retard, Oubliez votre réservation sur cette compagnie.c’est une catastrophe.

This booking was a fraud. When you book a Business Flex ticket it says very clear that it can be refunded without a fee. For free. I had to cancel my booking for reason on time (more than 24 hours in advance). I was charged something around 30 EUR. When I was canceling the booking the website was in English except for one string in Turkish saying I have to pay 30 EUR with no chance to unflag this option. The support was helpless (number 00359078). It's a very primitive "fraud" changing my attitude to the air company forever. The ratings for flying experience are based on my previous trips with Pegasus

Have flown Pegasus many times over last two years through their Istanbul hub to & from U.K. & Sharm. I had no problems until my last three flights all of which were delayed resulting in missed connections. A noticeable drop in customer service has also occurred with uninterested & rude staff now the norm. Lounge staff at their Istanbul hub worst I've experienced in many years of travel. Will no longer use this airline & would not recommend it to others.

Stansted-Istanbul (SAW) Istanbul (SAW) - Gatwick Flight out delayed by about an hour, flight back on time. Just an average budget flight. No frills expected and there were none. Staff weren't especially friendly or unfriendly. I'd probably fly PGS again if it was significantly cheaper than the full service option.

Pegasus do not have an office anywhere in Europe, so whenever you want to sort anything with the airlines, the calls cost a fortune. The service is shocking, the staff have zero level of customer care. Not only they are helpless, but they are rude on the phone, raise their voice and do not care to listen. They have changed our flight from the 28th of September at 13.20 to the 29th at 13.20. The member of stuff who's changed it didn't inform us of the change. so we have arrived to the airport on time to find out our flight isn't taking place until another 24 hours. The only solution Pegasus has offered us is to wait in the Airport for 24 hours! What a service! They did not offer any assistance with taxi fairs (£120), hotel or covering the phone bill (I have spent over 3 hours on the phone with them). Furthermore, I was promised a call back from the agent who was dealing with the query within 10 minutes, who decided to go on a lunch break instead. His lunch lasted over an hour. Shocking!

I want to tell 2 of my extraordinarily bad experiences that happened in the last one year with Pegasus, in addition to their ever worsening service over the years. Please don't travel with Pegasus if you don't want to ruin your trip. I certainly won't use them any more. 1) Over New Year's Eve 2016, I was flying to Antalya/Turkey from UK, with a connecting flight in Istanbul. Due to a snow storm in Istanbul on Dec 30th, my flight to Antalya was cancelled following my arrival from UK. Pegasus Airlines took all passengers to a hotel by the airport and told us that a new flight will be scheduled for us the next morning and we will be picked up from the hotel. However, the next day they forgot us at the hotel and we were told at the airport that we had no record on their system. We could continue and finish the rest of the trip only through our own efforts. 2) They lost my luggage last week on a flight from Turkey to UK. Although I reported it as lost luggage at my arrival and received a file, an employee I talked today at the customer service told me that he did not see my luggage as lost luggage in their system. After 1 week they haven't even registered it yet!

Pegasus Airlines check-in yesterday at Ben Gurion airport. We were waiting patiently in line with 2 kids (5 & 7) for about an hour until it was finally our turn. We approach the counter and suddenly Melissa says her counter is now closed and we need to go somewhere else. We literally couldn't believe our ears because she was checking everyone else in and even after the entire saga was over, she went ahead and checked in m a young couple just after us! There literally was no reason for this at all but she simply decided she wants to ruin our day. She didn't want to listen or even cared that we had a flight very soon and now that her counter was closed, there was nothing we could do. We had to find a manager, some guy from security and plead with them to help issue our tickets, while her boss is behind security without any access. Then, after we finally got our tickets we told her we will file a complaint, to which she answered, "we will not be sending your luggage on that flight, you do whatever you want". It was such a disgusting experience that after checked in we tried to talk to her supervisor and the response was "we don't want to hear about it" or

Aircraft was not very clean, and flight attendants were quite rude and unprofessional. They seemed to be upset about having phones turned on during take-off and landing, even though this is no longer in FAA rules and not mentioned in their policy. They were quite antagonistic and did not seem very friendly. The window was filthy and cabin was unclean. I know this is a budget airline, but I'd expect better than what I got.

Bad flight ..My flight was delayed and we have arrived about 2hours late from madrid to sabiha airport ..Then we waited 1 hour and a half sitting in the plane waiting for take off... . we tried to know about the delay , of course no one had the answer. Cheap flights = delay .I will never use this airline, and I will make sure all my friends know about this!

This is the first company that lost our luggage, and when they ficd it we had to rent a car and drive 160 km to pick it up. Pegasus new slogan: We're not satisfied until You're not satisfied. Stay away from Pegasus. Don't let them ruin your vacation as they did to ours.

I have been flying since 1982 for both leisure and business trips. I have flown in various cabins including private jets. In all my time flying I have never experienced such an appalling catalogue of events as I did with Pegasus Airlines aka flypgs.com. BA cancelled my flight to Sharm el Sheikh and I had to book Pegasus Airlines for a lot of money for a no frills product. At Baggage Drop Off at LGW, despite my having a boarding pass I was unable to be processed. After two hours I was finally entered onto the flight manifest by Pegasus. At that time I was also advised that my return flight would not land at LGW but at Stansted Airport. There was only availability for a flight returning to LGW five days earlier as I had parked my car at LGW and there were no flights available after my return date. So upon my return, after a night of very little sleep I had to take public transport from Stansted to Gatwick to collect my car and drive home. As Pegasus Airlines is a Turkish airline and not a European airline they do treat customers with little respect. The telephone manner of the airline assistants is of a very poor standard indeed. I cannot recommend Pegasus Airlines at all.

Our flight was delayed and we have arrived about 2hs late in Istanbul, so I missed my connection flight and had to rebook to a next flight. Their service was horrendous. A huge queue with no organization at all, long wait, lame customer service's skills... I finally managed it, but the next flight was only in another 2hours. So I would miss my shuttle to the hotel. I tried to get help at their check in desk, but no one would help me. I ended up having to take a taxi, which cost me a lot more! I have complained to them and sent them the details of what happened. They promised to look into this, but no longer replied to me. I will never use this airline, and I will make sure all my friends know about this!

permissible package weight is not sufficient, but they allow for more weight with a charge more than 12 euro per kg. moreover food or drinks is too expensive in the plane(ex. about 4 euro for a coffee cup) while it is for free in most of other flight companies. service team is not friendly and unkind at all looks like you are flight for free with them !! EDITORS COMMENT: This is alow cost airline so they charge on board for food and drinks. Also you can pre purchase excess luggage at a cheaper cost inline prior to your flight. I don't recommend this flight for friends

Absolutely horrible. The pilot flew absolutely bad, the weather conditions were good when i had a look in the internet! No wind, no rain. Tought i will die on this flight - up down, up down, circled and a hard landing. There were no informations given and those which have been given were not understandable. I do not know if it was english at all. The additional possibility to buy food on board is ridicolous. I almost payed the same price like for a compareable flight with aeroflot or austrian airlines. This has been the most horrible flight in my life. Ah and by the way: all flights of pegasus had a delay. Route was from Frankfurt Int. Germany to Sabiha Gokcen Turkey

Changed my flight 2 times in 5 minutes because of their error and misunderstanding and got charged 200£ in total for it!!! When i tried to explain the second time on the phone that it was their fault they told that there is nothing they can do about it!!

Very poor customer service. Firstly, they use premium UK numbers for customer service and complaint (which is not legal) but your calls are answered in Turkey. Tried to get wheelchair for a disabled lady but they give you no online option and when you call, they say they cannot arrange it. Avoid these people if you want to be treated like a human.

Never book a flexible ticket at Pegasus. When you change your reservation they would let you pay €65 for international flight changing. All the offers of flexible ticket will be lost (seat selection, meals, extra weight, etc...). For me it was 3X promotion ticket price. Never book a flexible ticket at Pegasus.

Flew Milan-Istanbul-Dubai-Istanbul-Milan, 3 out of 4 flights were delayed by almost an hour on average. Brand new and first time being used baggage was damaged and airline denied a compensation stating it against the given rules. Crew was really nice and none of the credit card machine was working aboard Istanbul-Dubai flight as I tried all my cards with all of there machines aboard but the crew was nice enough to offer me a free sandwich as a compensation with the comment, "Sir you must be hungry, don't tell anyone ;) "

PEGASUS is one of these companies which ARE TO BE AVOIDED UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. Just an example: I had a domestice flight with this company to Istanbul and from there a connecting international flight, also with Pegasus and from the same airport. The domestic flight was delayed (by the way, nobody explained the reasons) and after running through all the controls, the boarding gate of the international flight was closed in front of my nose. The ground staff explained to me, after checking their computer, that I was not in the passenger list. After explaining that this was impossible since I had completed the web check-in and that two hours earlier at the airport of departure they gave me the boarding pass for the second leg of the flight, they changed their versión: they now said that my reservation had been changed to the next day because they new the domestic flight was late... In the meantime, the plane for the international flight was still waiting for departure at the gate, only the door was closed and nobody was willing to do something to open that door. Finally the flight departed with delay, but without me. After that they left me in the transfer zone of the airport, without the possibility to contact any transfer gate nor to go out of the airport. The intermediation of the security staff of the S. Gökçen airport (by the way, in general very unfreindly and everything but helpful) was the only possibility to try to contact with the Pegasus staff. After almost 2 hours, finally somebody showed up claiming he was from Pegasus and that he needed my Passport and Boarding Pass. Once handed over these documents, he disappeared without further explanations. After another half an hour or so, another person showed up to guide me through the police control to the Pegasus ticket counter in the entrance hall. By some extremely unfriendly and unhelpful Pegasus staff I was told the impossibility to book me on another flight than the one of the next day (neither to another city nor with another company, if I wanted that I had to pay myself, they stated). And also that refund of the ticket was impossible, violating their own rules concerning "passenger rights" (???!!!). With all doors closed (tickets with other companies for the same day being excessively expensive) finally they brought me to some hotel of their convenience in the middle of nowhere on the Asian side of Istanbul, at 60 km from the city and without public transport. Thats where I am sitting now and apart from sending complaints, I strongly recommend other passengers to AVOID PEGASUS. Peter Tanner

My girlfriend and I took a trip to Rome from israel, we booked our flight with an Pegasus, not knowing much about it, we booked the flight believing everything will be just alight. Oh we where so wrong, the flight was a transfer through Istanbul, meaning 2 flights there and 2 back,. Both flights there where late leaving almost an hour late, but that wasn't the worst of it yet, when arriving in Istanbul we discover that only one of our suitcases arrives, our second suitcase which was my girlfriends arrived almost 2 days later at our hostel, but it wasn't over yet, there was to be yet more surprises. Our flight back to Istanbul was over 2 hours late, making us miss our connecting flight to Israel. we then where bumped to a later flight, which too was delayed over an hour.

Worst airline I have ever used. They left my family 2 adults and 3 children stranded in Istanbul airport for 24 hours when our flights were cancelled with no offer of a hotel, food or even a drop of water. I complained to several of their staff at the airport but was simply fobbed off. I have been complaining ever since and they simply ignore all of my emails. Stay away from these cowboys especially if you are travelling with kids .... never again! I hope Pegasus staff are reading this because you know who I am from the 20 emails I have sent you that you have simply ignored.

In short, I have never experienced worse customer service than the Pegasus employees at Sabiha Gokcen airport (Istanbul) lost and found luggage area. At length: I flew with Pegaus airlines from Tel Aviv to Instanbul (TLV--> SAW) in late July. My luggage, along with 4 other peoples', did not make it to Sabiha Gokcen airport in Istanbul. We went to the Pegasus lost and found luggage area and from the beginning, the employees seemed confused about what to do with us. I was speaking English, and the employees all spoke a little, but not very much, English so there was a lot of confusion. We all filled out forms with our names, where we were staying in Istanbul, etc. I was only staying in Istanbul for 2 days (then going to Athens) but the employee told me it might take up to a week to find my luggage so I should just fill out and form and that's all. The next day I checked the lost luggage tracker online and they had put my email in incorrectly, so already they had no way to contact me because I didn't have a Turkish phone. So, I bought Skype credit and began calling the 3 numbers they wrote down for me to call. No one picked up, 2 of the 3 numbers didn't even ring. The only way I could get a hold of someone (and this went for the next 5 days as well) was by calling the Sabiha Gokcen airport number and going through the automated options to get to Pegasus, and even that way I was often redirected back to the automated message or simply hung up on. To keep this short, Pegasus said they would deliver my bag to where I was staying in Istanbul 2 days after I got in. They never did that, and the next day I had to go back to the airport to fly out anyway, so I got there early to get my luggage in person since they claimed they had it. No use. Since they were going to deliver it to me, it had been sent to a different airport to go through some cargo loading area or something. At this point I began crying in their office and after much arguing one employee said he would find a flight to Athens to put my luggage on so I would get it at my next destination. At this point I sat in their office crying for an hour and a half. Meanwhile, the employees all just looked at me or ignored me and not one of them ever offered a tissue, a kind word, nothing. They were even hanging around and laughing with each other while I sat and cried. Finally the man working with me asked if I wanted something to drink, but when I asked for coffee or tea he said "I'll look" and never came back. Eventually he gave me a flight number that my bag would be on. When I got to Athens an employee (not Pegasus) told me that in the system they had my bag coming on a later flight. So I was lied to again by Pegasus. It is now a day later and my bag is still not in Athens and every time I call one of the 6 numbers I have that supposedly go to Pegasus employees, no one picks up, it redirects me to the menu, or they hang up on me.

Still waiting for Pegasus to respond to a complaint my husband made 2 weeks ago. He flew from Izmir-Istanbul-Stansted but his luggage never left Istanbul! Waited 3 hours at Stansted, noone to help and had to drive 2.5 hours home with no clues and certainly no luggage! Called every tel no. under the sun the following day (PGS Istanbul head Office, PGS Istanbul airport, PGS Stansted airport..... etc), numbers either did not work or we were fobbed off and told to call elsewhere. In fact PGS at Stansted told us we would need to go to Stansted and deal with the matter in person, even though were 2.5 hours away and it wasn't our fault! A helpful lady at Stansted found our luggage in the end and sent it the following day via courier. Pegasus offered no help, no interest and certainly no apology and can't even respond to an email we have sent three times now. I will make sure I spread the word everywhere and will continue until I get a satisfactory response. DO NOT FLY WITH PEGASUS
