This airline is the worst in the world. Agents didnot speak English at checkin. Staff are rude and unhelpful. Substantial delays of flights with no updates and gate didnot have any agent till the departure time and no one spoke English. Rude, obnoxious and unhelpful with no accountability. Also lost my luggage

I traveled from Mumbai to Ho Chi Minh City (VJ-884) on September 27, 2024, with my 80-year-old mother. It was our first time flying with VietJet Airlines and experiencing Vietnamese culture. Unfortunately, we encountered a particularly rude male flight attendant. When my mother asked him for water upon boarding, he curtly informed her that it would be served later with the meals. About half an hour later, when the meals began arriving, we received one bottle of water each. My mother requested an extra bottle, which the female flight attendant provided. Shockingly, the male attendant then demanded the extra bottle back, snatching it from my mother’s hand. This behavior was both unprofessional and disrespectful. He could have asked money for the bottle of water rather than snatching it. This encounter left a very negative impression of Vietnamese hospitality. Such behavior is not fitting for the airline industry and reflects poorly on the country. If anyone had a similar experience, I’d like to hear how you would react if someone snatched a bottle of water from your mother. I didn’t catch the name of the attendant, but I would recognize him if I saw his picture in the future. VietJet can easily identify him based on the flight details I've share with then on email sent on 7th October 2024. Additionally, I found it bizarre that they required a boarding pass from each passenger before serving meals. My boarding pass was in my bag, and I had to retrieve it, which I’ve never experienced in my many travels. I will not fly with VietJet again and will strongly advise others to be cautious as well.

This is the worst airlines I have flown in my 30 years of business travel! I bought their Deluxe ticket and part of this service is priority check in. When I checked in at Bangkok I was treated according to my ticket,with good service. However, when I flew home from Ho Chi Minh. The ground staff refused to give me priority check in. I showed them their own company website where is clearly say's Deluxe ticket holders get priority check in. They responded to me "I never heard of this service" and " it must be an old promotion or a mistake"!! The refused to honour ther services unpaid for! I have written their so called customer service and no one replies to me. I can't believe they are being given an award! They must have paid someone to award them this because their airlines if a f**king joke!

Poor customer service - We had booked a flight from Da nang to Da lat, Vietnam in October 2022. The airlines delayed the flight by 1day and send the update via email. The 1-day delay didn't suit our plans, as all our bookings were already in place for the week. Hence we had no choice but to cancel it. As per the email, if we cancel, we can get a refund only in the form of a Credit shell, which we can use later. However, this was of no use to us, as there were no other flights for the same day and we had to make another booking with another airline instead. Hence, we requested Viet jet to cancel and give us a full amount refund in our bank account directly. However, even post multiple emails and calls the airlines declined for the same and still insists on a credit shell. Poor seats When we traveled to Vietnam from Mumbai, the airfare was quite high and the seats are extremely small and uncomfortable. It didn't even fit our legs properly. Overall a very poor airline

Prices are very good. Crew polite. Flight from Quy Nhon to Saigon. Booked flight for 16:00. Delayed until 23:30. Seems the airline doesn't have a cushion to allow for inevitable holdups . Vietjet delays in June officially recorded 26% delays. On the positive side, they did 'upgrade' me toa better seat.

Never fly with VietJetAir, because of their terrible ripoff customer service. I'm on a trip with a bicycle Chiang Mai-Bangkok-Hanoi-Đà Lạt and back, from May 16th thru June 13th/14th. All these flights are with the same airline, VietJetAir. With each change of plane, I have to manoeuvre my bike box through the airport. I had nearly two hours between flights from the Đà Lạt plane in Hanoi to the Bangkok plane, but the Đà Lạt plane was late. The staff told me it is too late to get on the Bangkok flight. No more flights to Bangkok that day. So... put me up in a hotel, since it was their fault, as other airlines have done in the past? No, I had to pay to change flights. Every time I change planes, I have to pay more for the bike. The latest is about $130. I had to also pay for a hotel and taxi fares. They rebooked me onto tomorrow's flight to Bangkok, but can't rebook me on the flight to Chiang Mai, even though it is with the same company. I'm never flying VietJetAir anywhere again.

WARNING!!! DONT FLY WITH THIS COMPANY!! I got my luggage. And to my surprise I noticed some damage to a wheel. I brought this up to an employee at the airport and I was told there’s nothing that can be done for me because the damage was caused from regular use. if I want give feedback send an email. At home I noticed more damage than I originally saw. My suitcase was cracked in 3 separate spots. When I opened the suitcase a bottle of sake I had was demolished. The sake leaked onto my watch and ruined my watch in the suitcase. I sent an email to simply inform them of how I was treated. I didn’t even ask for the $300 of damage that was caused. I got a return email saying they can’t help me because I didn’t submit a complaint at the airport. I replied to this saying I tried but their employee wouldn’t assist me. They replied with a copy and paste of their policies and procedures for damaged luggage. They were more interested in telling me why they won’t pay for the damage then taking responsibility for what they did.

We had two flights with Vietjet HAN -DAD, and DAD-SGN all flights were on time. We enjoyed flying with them we didn't have any issues.

Departure DELAYED 1 hour. Intercom advised we would be delayed but NO STAFF to contact at the gate area to ask questions. NO ESTIMATE of how long the delay would be.
