Spicejet website in misleading and confusion – it is designed in such a way to scam the passengers. I booked Madurai-Dubai flight for my daughter on 27th December with my credit card. So I mentioned my name in the “Contact Details” field. Alas, the traveller name is mentioned as mine instead of my daughter’s. I entered the correct details in the correct fields – I could not have mistaken the traveller details with my name because along with traveller details you are also told to enter their passport details etc.
I wrote to the customer relations who simply asked me to cancel the old booking and go in for a fresh one, with a cost of Rs.1850/- they are more interested in the additional income rather than solving a genuine grievance.
I tried to login to “Manage Booking” which is logging in irrespective of me entering my name or that of my daughter’s name. Then the agent in dubai had to explain to me that i have to omit the email address to obtain the correct picture. A web site requiring “guidance” to understand. Not clear in the first place- a scam to earn that extra income by confusing and misleading people.
