Brand Finance has ranked Vietjet among the six most valuable airline brands in ASEAN this year, alongside Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways and Malaysia Airlines.
The Vietnamese carrier holds a 7/7 safety rating on AirlineRatings.com and took out World's Best Ultra Low Cost Carrier at the 2025 AirlineRatings Awards.
Vietjet reported revenue of VND52.329 trillion (about US$2 billion) for the first nine months of 2025. Pre-tax profit climbed 28 percent year-on-year to VND1.987 trillion (about US$75.5 million), and gross profit reached VND6.724 trillion (about US$259 million).
The airline's market capitalisation hit nearly VND105.3 trillion (about US$4 billion) on November 7. Vietjet now operates 130 aircraft across more than 170 routes and has carried over 250 million passengers throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Chief Financial Officer Ho Ngoc Yen Phuong attributed the growth to customer and investor confidence.
"Our consistent brand value growth reflects the trust of customers, investors and international partners in Vietjet," Phuong said. "We will continue to deliver diverse, convenient and affordable travel experiences to our passengers while further enhancing Vietnam's value and position in the global aviation landscape."
The airline is positioning itself as a global aviation group, with hundreds of aircraft on order and an expanding intercontinental network. Sustainability programs targeting lower emissions sit alongside that growth strategy.
Vietjet also took out the Grand Winner title in the Tourism Category at the ASEAN Business Awards 2025 earlier this year. The carrier has collected further honours from the World Travel Awards across the same period.
Brand Finance, the London-based brand valuation consultancy founded in 1996, conducts more than 6,000 brand valuations globally each year. Its rankings draw on business performance, influence, marketing investment and other reputation metrics.
