Scoot, Singapore’s low cost carrier, became the first airline in the world to operate an all-Dreamliner fleet when its seventh 787 entered scheduled service on September 3rd 2015.

Scoot’s last 777-200 retired in style with a pyjama party on its final flight on the Singapore-Taipei-Tokyo route.

            Our review of Scoot's 787

CEO, Campbell Wilson said, “Since deploying our first Dreamliner in February of this year, Scoot has transitioned to an all-787 fleet in record time – just seven months. It is therefore appropriate that our latest Dreamliner sports the name ‘Lickity-Split’!”

Scoot named their latest Dreamliner ‘Lickity-Split” to reflect the carrier’s record speed in deploying the Dreamliners.

Campbell added, “Scoot’s 787 has allowed us to set a new standard in budget travel, with great new offerings such as Wi-Fi Internet connectivity, streaming entertainment and in-seat power throughout the aircraft, complementing the many choices already enjoyed by our guests. Aside from its great cabin ambiance and improved passenger comfort, the 787’s fantastic operating economics allow us to offer even better value airfares – even more reasons to get outta here!

AirlineRatings.com awarded Scoot the "Best low cost airline Asia/Pacific" in their 2015 airline excellence awards.

Scoot has a firm order of twenty 787s, split equally between 335-seat 787-8’s and 375-seat 787-9’s.
