Indonesia lifts ban on the Boeing 737 MAX

Indonesia has lifted a ban on the Boeing 737 MAX, three years after the crash of one of the aircraft operated by domestic carrier Lion Air with the loss of all 189 people on board. The approval comes almost a year after it returned to service in the US and Europe, and follows the recent lifting of grounding in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Ethiopia. READ: Qatar Airways Qsuite the ultimate in privacy  CNA reports that authorities said "airlines must follow airworthiness directives and inspect their planes before they can fly the 737 MAX again." The Indonesian authorities will also inspect the planes.
