I understand that Spirit Airlines is an ultra-low price airline, and I don't want anyone to lose their jobs, but this airline needs to go out of business. It is a horrible airline. Bought a flight from Atlanta to Chicago. After delaying the flight, they then cancelled the flight due to "weather". No call or text. However, other flights out of other airlines (Southwest, Delta and etc) were flying out of Atlanta to Chicago. So, the weather is only impacting Spirit Airlines? Makes no sense. I go to the counter for assistance and ask them if they can help with anything, they say no and insist that I get a refund instead. I call customer service to get assistance with getting another flight with another airline or something because I have planned this trip for a while now. The customer service agent tells me that I can go to another city and fly from there to Chicago BUT it will cost me $530 one way? EXCUSE ME! Agents at the counter are clueless, lie and have attitudes. Customer Service via their hotline agent did make an attempt to be nice. But Spirit Airlines just doesn't have good customer service period. You are better off with Southwest or Delta. NEVER FLY WITH SPIRIT EVER!!!
