Our return flight from Kansas City to Detroit on Sunday morning, Mother's Day, was cancelled. Received that notice on the way to the airport. Lined up at the Spirit desk in KC to re-book. To my amazement, they would only re-book on Spirit airline the next day. They refused to re-book us on one of several available flights to Detroit so we could get home on Mother's Day. Eventually had to pay $800 extra to get home. This airline is nothing but bad news. Take all the negative reviews to heart--you will have a negative experience on this airline.
