Nobody ever fly with United Airlines. I don’t care if they’re the cheapest by half. My flight from Dayton was suppose to depart at 8:15 am, and was delayed by an hour and a half. I was paranoid about missing my connection flight so I reserved a seat on the next one at 6:30 pm. It was a damn good thing I did. I arrived in time to make my connection flight, but for maintenance issues, it was cancelled. Fine, don’t want to be getting on a broken plane. The good people of United said that if I had not reserved the 6:30 flight, I would have had to wait til the next day. So I waited, for 6 hours, with my one year old baby, in the airport. The flight that I had reserved a seat on was delayed. The plane that was supposed to get there at 6pm, did not get there until almost 8. Guess what, this one also had maintenance issues that needed to be fixed. Apparently, United Airlines can’t fix their planes or keep them in good repair!
