United Airlines is one of the largest network carriers in the world and placed fifth in the 2026 Airline Ratings World's Best Hybrid Airlines. The Polaris business cabin is a flat bed on long-haul routes, seatback screens are being fitted fleetwide and Wi-Fi is free for MileagePlus members. Newer Boeing 787s and Airbus A321neos are noticeably better than the older Boeing 767s and 757s, and a very large order means the fleet keeps improving. Economy seat pitch is tight, and cabin service consistency varies.
