I was a little concerned today for safety reasons. I was on United flight 4212 which was a flight operated by EXPRESS JET AIRLINES INC doing business as UNITED EXPRESS. The flight was smooth and actually a little early. However, the flight attendant failed to have a passenger wake up in the emergency exit aisle during landing. The passenger was strapped in very loosely and would have blocked the exit area in the event of an emergency landing. The window shade was left down which is always supposed to be up for take off or landing.
EDITORS COMMENT: it is not compulsory to be awake for take off or landing if you are sitting in the emergency exit. If there was an emergency that presented passengers in the emergency exit row aren’t to do a think until directed by cabin crew.
