    On a recent flight from Mel to K.L we were denied boarding as the electronic tickets we were issued weren’t accepted by the MA booking system. Even though we had seats allocated, the customer service response was to sort it out with our travel agent. Very difficult at 9pm however we managed to ring our agent at home who made calls to the out of hours service to arrange alternative ticketing. We therefore missed our original flight but managed to get on the following flight seven hours later after spending the night at the airport. The response so far from MA is that a symbol was inserted into the booking preventing the ticketing from being valid. If they can lose a plane don’t be surprised that they can lose your booking! Also the food was horrible and they had this practice of only issuing the head-sets well after take-off and collecting them well before landing. Fly MA at your own risk!
