Air France review by Ness 2013-02-13

6 months ago I flew with Air France from Brisbane to Paris via Singapore. The trip from Brisbane to Singapore was with QANTAS which was fine. It was the trip with Air France airlines from Singapore through to Paris (flying into Charles De Gaulle airport) that was terrible. Aircraft was a Boeing 777 but was so old it felt like it was going to fall apart. When they put the wheels down for landing there was a huge clunk with everyone in the plane looking shocked. The seats were extremely old, uncomfortable and hard for a 13 hour flight. The food was also really bad, I opted for the vegetarian meal and got sushi and some sort of jelly patty for breakfast, which I didn’t touch. I’m not sure what terminal I flew into either but being my first time to Europe, not speaking the language and travelling by myself it was an awful experience. There was no signage, the terminal itself looked dirty and disgusting, it didn’t even look like an airport and there were no staff around to help or guide you where to go. On the way back however, back to Singapore from Paris my flight was fine, I had a newer plane and flew out from the normal terminals at the airport with no problems.
