Just posting to let everyone know that if they fly Air France they run the risk of encountering the WORST customer service ever! We left a carry on on a flight from GVA to CDG back on Dec 15th and after over 15 emails and numerous phone calls, we have yet to get anywhere. We even had a friend stop by the lost and found on Friday to pick up our bag but they would not let him have it because his name was not on the bag. Now I understand this rule but you must also realize that in at least 3 emails leading up to his arrival I had requested instructions on what we needed to do to allow him to pick up said article. AF responds with only a auto-reply email and there is apparently no phone number to the lost and found. The bag is there, our friend saw it in person but they do not respond to us and the attendant said it would only be held for 2 more weeks before it is “auctioned” off. In my eyes this is basically theft. Any thoughts?
