With international travel just around the corner, it’s time to think of your airline of first choice and Qatar Airways has just been given the green light for UK flights.

From October 4, the state of Qatar will be on the United Kingdom green list with fully vaccinated passengers traveling with Qatar Airways via Doha not requiring quarantine on arrival.

Qatar Airways recently increased its frequencies to Manchester and Edinburgh for greater connection through to the UK and is now operating 46 weekly flights from Doha to the United Kingdom.

Qatar Airways network expansion has now surpassed 140 destinations and with its reliable and expansive global network, it is in a great position to service Australian and New Zealand passengers once the borders reopen for international travel.

But to get you set to go Qatar Airways has great offers for travel to the UK to reconnect with loved ones with special fares from Melbourne from A$1,917 return.

Full details of the various requirements for your trip can be found on the Qatar Airways website on the booking page and are easy to follow.

For peace of mind, Qatar Airways also has a great flexibility policy that covers tickets booked for travel completed by May 31, 2022, for unlimited changes with no fees.

The ticket is also valid for two years should you need to alter your travel plans.

Ticket flexibility and security is just one aspect of COVID-world travel the other is your own health and security.

Again, Qatar Airways ticks all the boxes as one of only a handful of airlines that kept flying through the pandemic.

The airline was the first to be rated by agency Skytrax as a five-star COVID-19 airline while it also achieved a seven-star rating from Airlineratings.com which uses a slightly different rating system.

Importantly, Qatar Airways hub Hamad International Airport was the first global airport to achieve the Skytrax five-star COVID-19 safety rating.

For full details of all the COVID safety measures that have been implemented on-board Qatar Airways aircraft and at HIA, visit www.qatarairways.com/safety.

These increased services are in addition to the airline expanding flights to several of its key global leisure destinations including Cape Town, Maldives, Rome, Athens, Seychelles, and Zanzibar, providing more flexible summer holiday travel options via Hamad International Airport.

For Australian and New Zealand passengers, Qatar Airways also offers excellent connections and a seamless journey to the US via Doha.

Qatar Airways now has 100 weekly flights across its 12 US gateways.

Four U.S. gateways – Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, and Washington D.C. – have double daily flights, Dallas-Fort Worth increases has 12 flights per week with Boston, Miami, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle all growing to a daily service.
