Vietjet to Nearly Double Capacity Between Vietnam and Australia

Vietjet will increase its flight frequency between Vietnam and Australia from 26 to 48 flights per week starting this December

Vietjet will increase its flight frequency between Vietnam and Australia from 26 to 48 flights per week starting this December in response to the growing travel demand. The move reflects the airline’s optimistic performance and outlook in the market, as well as its unwavering dedication to delivering on its promise of providing global travellers with excellent travel options at affordable prices. 

From 21 November 2023,Vietjet will commence the first-ever direct flight connecting Ho Chi Minh City to Perth and Adelaide. The services will fly five times a week, on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.  

From 1 December 2023, Vietjet will fly daily from Ho Chi Minh City to Melbourne with 7 return flights per week. The Ho Chi Minh City – Sydney route will also increase from 5 weekly service to daily return service, offering 7 return flights weekly.  

From 16 December 2023, Vietjet will fly from Ho Chi Minh City to Brisbane with 5 return flights per week every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Vietjet is the only carrier that operates the direct service between Vietnam and Brisbane.

In celebration of the strategic movement, Vietjet is running a ticket promotion until November 11 with millions of cheap airfares for all domestic and international routes. The airline will continue to hold its iconic weekly discounted fares until 31 December 2023 every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.  

Additionally, passengers who book international return flights will receive an additional e-Voucher worth VND200,000 (US$8) (Terms and conditions) to use for their next trips.  Passengers can register an account and enter the booking code on the website https://evoucher.vietjetair.com/ to receive the free e-voucher.
