Sam Chui, AirlineRatings.com's editor-at-large has flown on Singapore Airlines New York to Singapore non-stop flight in Premium Economy and has given the product a big tick in his latest video (below). "Business Class was sold out in advance but I was keen to try out the Premium Economy to see how it fares with up to 19hours of flying time. I was so glad and excited to be part of the history-making flight and recording every moment of this special aviation milestone" said Mr. Chui SEE out Future of Flying reviews. READ Geoffrey Thomas's Business Class review of this service He was impressed by the airline Premium Economy seat and said that there "was plenty of room for him with good recline." Mr. Chui also highlighted that the best seats in Premium Economy were the last three rows by the window where there is just one seat plus a storage locker. They are rows 40, 41 and 42, C and H. (Picture below) The first Premium Economy meal was a choice of beef and mash potatoes, Canyon Ranch chicken breast with lentils fish curry with rice (below).   "The service was so fast," said Mr. Chui. "Í went for the fish curry and rice and it was very nice." And Mr. Chui has Moet champagne. "Moet in Premium Economy, I am impressed!" Mr. Chui was also very impressed with the noise canceling headsets that passengers get. However, he was not too impressed with the WifI as it was a bit slow due to bandwidth constraints. About three hours into the flight the passengers were treated to the first artic ice and icebergs. "It was beautiful," said Mr. Chui. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jVv21yg4qw&fbclid=IwAR0-VGByBe2cYQmQaD8BSbccaSdmXB7dKOSvMp8EhOsJzwbI-VBgIWxeCns Sunset was five hours into the flight and the scenery "was remarkable". "I can watch this scenery for hours." At eight hours into the flight, the next meal was delivered. Mr. Chui chose the chicken and steamed rice with champagne.
