Indonesia AirAsia announces that it has once again attained the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification from the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

"IOSA is crucial for airlines as it ensures compliance with globally recognised operational security and safety standards," stated Veranita Yosephine, CEO of Indonesia AirAsia, in Jakarta on Wednesday (10/06).

The renewed certification comes hot on the heels of the AirAsia group of airlines winning the AirlineRatings Best Low Cost Airlines award for 2024.

Veranita added, “As the airline ramps up to support the growing travel demand post-pandemic, this achievement underscores Indonesia AirAsia's dedication to prioritising security and safety standards on every flight, while striving to deliver excellent service to all passengers.”

Now, Indonesia AirAsia joins the ranks of other top-performing airlines within the AirAsia Group that have also achieved IOSA certification*. This underscores AirAsia Group's commitment to ensuring that all its airlines meet the IOSA certification standards - the global benchmark for upholding the highest standards at all times.

Airline Ratings CEO Geoffrey Thomas states, 'This is a major achievement, and I congratulate Indonesia AirAsia on its efforts to gain this prestigious safety accolade. It speaks volumes about the airline's commitment to operational excellence.'

“Indonesia AirAsia remains committed to supporting the Indonesian government's efforts to boost foreign tourist arrivals through various initiatives. One of these initiatives is the continued expansion of new routes, connecting AirAsia guests to a variety of popular destinations both domestically and internationally.”
