Worst customer experience with this airline. Not sure how this airline got rated as best low cost airline. Something really wrong of this rating. It has to be more than worst airline. Reasons below. 1. Booked a flight for two from Manila to Panglao on 10th July. 2. Air Asia cancelled the flight on 21st July 3. Logged the refund request with Air Asia on 22nd July. 4. Check with my cases on Air Asia app no action since the day one. 5. chat with chatbot it is cyclic. ask the case ID , then to confirm email, then say we are working and repeat again and again. ask for customer service consultant. It designed in such a way only the previous cycle is working to stop customers reaching them 6. Tried to find a contact number. Only found couple of voice mail numbers not real customer service numbers. So no help. 7. When you book a flight your money straightaway debited. Why cannot refund be done in at least couple of days not two months still not done. This is pretty much day light robbery by this airline. Have flown in more than 50 airline companies in different countries. None of those no way near this bad.

I rarely post travel complaints, but our recent experience with AirAsia deserves to be shared. My wife and I followed all the baggage policies, even returned items to reduce weight and paid AUD 94.12 for additional carry-on. Despite this, we were subjected to repeated checks, unclear communication, and poor handling by the staff at the boarding gate. We raised a formal complaint and initially received a reply promising internal review. But after that—complete silence. No update, no refund, no voucher, no apology. We expected better from AirAsia, and hope they address such passenger grievances more responsibly in the future. #AirAsia #CustomerExperience #TravelComplaint #PassengerRights

NEVER USE THIS AIRLINE! I had a travel plan from Kuala Lumpur to Europe, and one of my changeovers has to be in Chennai Airport (MAA) for several hours. But I wasn't allowed on board due to, as I was told, specific transit requirements as was said by the airline (Air Asia) I had a flight with. They said there is no transit area in MAA and due to this fact I need a transit visa to proceed in my journey. I checked all the information before regarding transit through India and it was said everywhere that if the layover is less than 24 hours there is no need for a transit visa. I also checked specific requirements for MAA but found nothing and was sure everything is going to be fine. I have no idea what happened, I received no further explanation from the airline (I tried to contact them but they have just a chat bot which not allows to connect to person), but my trip was completely spoiled and I had to buy different expensive tickets on spot, my losses were USD 1500+. This is not a thing should happen nowadays.
