Flew from Doha to Singapore, firstly what a terrible impression the airport gives you of Qatar. Poor signage, not enough seating, only a handful of places to eat. And then the awful holding rooms waiting for a bus to the plane. We flew on a 777 and whilst Qatar only has 9 seats across they still manage to cram the rows in so the "extra" space isn't noticeable. The crew were pretty average, no warmth or friendliness at all. The flight we were on was like a crèche at times, with a number of families travelling with young children, and locals with their nanny in business class and maids back in economy it was a constant procession of people back and forth from economy to business with the kids. The crew never once asked people to stop blocking the aisles whilst gathering their kids together. The food on our flight was minimal and very average, in a 7.5 hour flight we had a small breakfast and then a awful half bread wrap (which was all wrap!) we got to Singapore starving. The landing in Singapore was the worst we have ever encountered - the pilot slammed into the Tarmac. Once landed the crew failed to stop people standing and walking - even whilst on the runway. Would only ever fly Qatar if they were the only choice.
