I could give negative stars I would! Worst airline in history! We arrived at the airport to take my elderly disabled mother for her flight. Arrived exactly 2 hours ahead of flight time, not anticipating the fact that Spirit would only have two people at the counter to check her bag. After 45 minutes in line, we finally were "greeted" by a very rude young man who said that we were too late to check the bag. Being a little bothered, we said that was crap. He then said that unless we toned down he would not help us try to rebook her for tomorrow, in a quite arrogant manner. And argued with us that we weren't in line that long and weren't there the required two hours in advance. Needless to say, we had to weave her and her walker back through the crowds. She is so incredibly exhausted now. Never fly on this airline! Unless you like extra long lines, incredibly unhelpful rude service and being bumped off your flight.
