Qatar Airways review by Michael 2017-03-01

I feel compelled to write a review on my experiences with Qatar Airways, after reading mainly negative reviews. I travelled from Melbourne to London Heathrow on 25 Feb 2017. Positives. Excellent polite cabin staff,clean cabin,I requested an aisle seat (18C) with extra leg room, and the check in lady was polite and very helpful. Quick turnaround in Doha, (Easier to navigate than Dubai) Good departure and arrival times both ends. Smooth flights and landings. Negatives, (Minor) Row 18 , which i requested, get their food last, so could have been slightly warmer. Food tasty,but not enough, although cabin staff will bring snacks between meals, so no need to go hungry. These are minor negatives. I didnt read any reviews before i booked, then was quite concerned once i read the reviews on this site. I usually fly Emirates, which i have had no complaints, but rate Qatar equally. Its a sad world when we only write a review to complain, and not to praise a good experience. I return to Australia on 7 March, and will write another review on those experiences. Michael.
