EVA Air review by Dan 2016-04-22

We have flown the San Francisco - Southeast Asia route dozens of times, usually to Bangkok, on at least 9 different airlines, including Cathay Pacific,China Air, Garuda (LAX), JAL, Korean,Singapore, Thai, & United. EVA is the best value by far. We've flown with them 3 times. We've never had a problem with late flights (no more than 1/2 hour late), check-in staff and telephone agents are efficient, flight attendants are polite, seats are reasonably comfortable, food, if not gourmet, is always edible, the flight arrival times and length of flights (to BKK) are good, and very important to us, the fares are very competitive. There are better, more costly airlines (Singapore), but EVA is the best value out there.
