  • All B777-300ER and new generation A330 aircraft have free WiFi service and live TV (not available for domestic flights); personal screens or shared cabin screens on short haul non domestic flights; No in flight entertainment on domestic flights; in seat power available on aircraft delivered after 2009.
  • Seat pitch of 33-53 inch depending on aircraft
  • Seating layout may be 2-2 or 3-3 with middle seat in each row of three kept free depending on aircraft
  • Baggage allowance of 30kg

Premium Economy

  • Available only on 777s
  • Choice of hot meals and fruit, dessert and cheese served; second hot or cold meal or lighter option available; snacks and range of beverages including alcohol available throughout the flight; welcome drink, nuts and Turkish mezze plate offered
  • Audio/Video On Demand and in flight connectivity to send text messages and emails. All B777-300ER and new generation A330 aircrafts have WiFi capability and the following live TV Channels; t24 (Eng.), BBC World (Eng.), Euronews (Eng. And Turkish)and SkyNews (Arabic).
  • Seat pitch of 46 inch, recline of 8.8 inch and extendable leg rest
  • In seat power and USB ports
  • Blanket, pillow and luxury amenity kit provided
  • Baggage allowance of 20kg

Economy Class

International or medium/long haul

  • Hot or cold breakfast or two course lunch or dinner served; beverages, including alcohol after 10am provided complimentary
  • Audio/Video On Demand and in flight connectivity to send text messages and emails on 777s, A340s, A330s, 737-800s and 737-900s. All B777-300ER and new generation A330 aircraft have WiFi capability and the following live TV Channels; t24 (Eng.), BBC World (Eng.), Euronews (Eng. and Turkish) and SkyNews (Arabic).
  • Seat pitch of 31 to 32 inch with 6 inch recline
  • USB ports and in seat power available on 777s and A330s
  • Blanket, pillow and amenity kit provided
  • Baggage allowance of 20kg

Domestic or short haul

  • Snack box or sandwich and nonalcoholic beverages served
  • Shared cabin screens show movies or TV shows or video on demand through seat back screens. No in flight entertainment on domestic flights.
  • Seat pitch of 30 to 32 inch with standard economy recline
  • No blankets, pillows or amenity kit
  • Baggage allowance of 20kg

Flight cancellation or lengthy delays

If the carrier cancels or delays a flight, is unable to provide previously confirmed space, fails to stop at a passenger’s stopover or destination point, or causes the passenger to miss a connecting flight the airline will:

  • carry the passenger on another of its scheduled passenger services on which space is available; or
  • reroute the passenger to the destination indicated on the ticket or aplicable portion thereof by its own scheduled services of those of  another carrier, or by surface transportation.  If the sum of the fare, excess baggage charge and any applicable service charge for the revised routing is higher than the refund value of the ticket or applicable portion thereof, the Carrier shall require no additional fare or charge from the passenger, and shall refund the difference if the fares and charges for the revised routing are lower;
  • Refund the unused portion of the ticket

Passengers are also liable for compensation in the form of money, accommodation, meals, ground transport, meal vouchers and phone calls depending on the length of the delay or cancellation. Click here to see the compensation available.  Note: The airline does not have to compensate passengers if delays and cancellations are the reuslt of weather, natural disasters, security risks, strikes,  political unrest and unforseen deficiencies in flight safety.

Denied boarding 
Pasengers are liable for compensation in the form of money, accommodation, meals, ground transport, meal vouchers and phone calls as explained here  provided they were not denied boarding for medical or safety reasons.


Baggage
If damage to the baggage is of a kind that can be immediately ascertained (such as broken wheels or handles, tears or missing contents) or the bag itself is missing,  the passenger must, on the same day and before leaving the arrival hall report the damage/loss to either the Turkish airlines counter or other baggage services. If your baggage has been delivered to you late after being lost, you can apply to Turkish Airlines, either personally or in writing, together with the documents indicating the expenditures you have made until the delivery of your baggage. You should apply no later than 21 days from the date when you received your baggage.
