    • Newspapers offered on longer domestic and transatlantic flights
    • Blankets and pillows available on transatlantic flights to Denmark
    • Baggage allowance varies with the route and aircraft flown

    Business Class

    • Available on A330s
    • Superior meal and beverage service; welcome drink offered
    • Seat back screens show movies but are not on demand
    • Seats have extendable leg and footrests and recline more than in economy
    • Newspapers offered
    • Amenity kit, blanket and pillow provided
    • Baggage allowance of 30kg
    • Established as Greenland Air in 1960 using Catalina aircraft which were able to land on both water and land
    • When landing close to a town, the water or ice runway had to be cleared of icebergs and ice floes and specific airport codes were painted on roofs of buildings in town
    • During rapid development in Greenland in the 1960s and 1970s the demand for both cargo and passenger air transport increased and helicopters were expensive to operate so fixed wing airplanes were utilized predominantly
    • Name changed to Greenland Air in 2002
    • Today, most domestic air transport in Greenland is operated by Dash 7 and Dash 8 aircraft which carry up to 50 passengers or a mix of passengers and cargo with more remote towns serviced by helicopters
    • Now the only year-round operator on flights between Denmark and Kangerlussuaq and Narsarsuaq
    • Essential service transporting cargo, tourists and business people around Greenland
    • Categorized as a regional carrier as the airline only operates one long haul route
