A Bad experience with Croatian Airlines.
I took a Croatian flight from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Split (Croatia) in a very old, small, jet fuel stinking Dash airplane packed with people and luggage in a very bumpy ride across the Adriatic sea and after a very rough landing in Split the Dash took off again to continue its journey onwards to Zagreb. To my surprise my luggage was kept in Rome, this was particularly embarrassing because I was traveling for work and was expected to wear a suit, because there was simply no place for all the luggage in the small, old and nasty Croatian Dash airplane. Croatian staff in Split was not very helpful but eventually my luggage found its way to split a few days latter although Croatian airlines never even apologized for the incident. I would advise the Croatian airliner to get rid of their old Dash and use much better and newer Embraer’s, or similar for such flights.

Chose Croatia Airlines over BA for LHR to ZAG and return because flight times were preferred.
The fares were good value, the flights out and back on time, the cabin comfortable enough for the flight duration.
The staff are not always as friendly as one might expect but nothing to complain about.

A horrible experience overall that ruined my holiday.
Delays due to “operational issues” both ways and no financial reimbursement which would be a small gesture for the amount of grief that was caused.
Don’t waste your time or money. Consistently crap!

The cabij crew was very warm and hospitable. The offer of snacks and drinks (both included in price) during the flight was great.

Pity there is no opportunity to upload my photos of the incredibly cramped seating. 3 hours of “Spam in a Can” jammed into my seat on an A319.
When I showed the photos to my colleagues later they laughed and said “no way!”
This is outrageous and shows how we need legislation to prevent this type of appalling treatment of customers by a cynical airline management team.
The worst seating I have experienced in many decades.
The guy in front reclined his seat so I couldn’t even read my magazine, his head was so close to my face.
It was not possible to pay for extra legroom as their computers are apparently not compatible with other Star Alliance airlines.
I don’t blame the cabin staff, who were excellent!
But Never again! I’ll use the other airlines that fly this route from now on.
