    6 hours before the plane should take off, Ryanair send a text “Your plane have been cancled”.
    After having PAID to contact their customer service in another country, they tell us that there are no other options, we have to cancel our holiday and stay home.

    Dear Customer

    Unfortunately we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide a monetary compensation or the reimbursement of the additional expenses you have incurred due to the flight cancellation. Once a flight is being requested to be refunded after that point we are no longer liable for any expenses made, the compensation can only be considered in case if a later transferred flight is used.

    As per the EU261/2004 Regulation passengers can either:
    – ask for a refund on the affected sectors due to the cancellation after which point the airline’s liability ends.
    OR
    – able to request a flight change free of charge for the next available within 7 days of the original schedule on the same route AND eligible for a monetary compensation (unless an extraordinary circumstance was proven).
    We are sorry to inform you that we are unable to fulfill your compensation request.
