Ryanair flies one of Europe's youngest fleets, with Boeing 737 MAX Gamechangers steadily replacing the older 737-800s, but the cabin product is deliberately minimal. Seats do not recline, seat pitch is tight, there is no entertainment and every extra is charged. Many bases are secondary airports well outside the city they name, so factor in the transfer.
