I fly Qatar couple of times a year from UK, normally EDI, to Malaysia. Overall they are ok but not 5 star. The 787 is ok if less busy but the seats are very uncomfortable and narrow. I’m 152 cms and still struggle to get comfortable. The Doha- KUL leg is an Airbus. It can be very full but the last journey it was half empty so I was able to move seats and get plenty of space. The cabin crew are polite but not overly attentive. Cabin service is not consistent when it comes to snacks and water. Food is mediocre. Ine meal and then a sandwich. The ‘sandwich’ wrap is vile, best avoided. Very little alcohol is served. Milk, even for tea, is evaporated creamer not UHT or fresh. No pork of course.
The entertainment seems a large choice but in reality is limited. This last journey the 787 seat wouldn’t recline properly and the cabin was v hot. On the Airbus my entertainment control, old as the cabin crew said, was unreliable. I’ve given up on their entertainment. I read my book.

Doha is an efficient, v large, airport. I’ve only ever had 2 hour layovers.

I fly Qatar as it avoids LHR, the timings are convenient and they are not overly expensive but you get what you pay for.
