Lufthansa review by Mark 2016-04-05

I had to fly from Baku to Frankfurt in a hurry and my company bought a business class ticket. At over $3000USD. I was to be honest quite excited by this as I assumed that that eye watering price for a four hour flight I would have my own bed and butler. How wrong I was. What I did get was a bog basic plastic covered seat about 10mm thick that reclined about 1/2 degree. And no TV. It was considerably worse than the average British Airways cattle class seats. To be honest it was pretty grim made all the worse by food that was no better than the plastic toy stuff toddlers play with.

I didn’t dare look at the cattle class cabin as I can only assume the agonies the poor souls who had the misfortune to be lumped there must have gone through. The seats must have been simple wooden pews knocked up out of old pallets nailed together badly. I think Lufthansa must have been looking back in order to replicate the true cattle truck experience again.

To be honest I have had Easyjet and Ryanair that were more comfortable and had better facilities.

EDITORS COMMENT: I’m sure it was a lot better than Easyjet and Ryanair but not worth the high price that’s for sure
