The first direct service between Vietnam and Perth touched down this afternoon opening up a new and exciting option for travelers. Prior to today passengers have had to travel up to 12 hours and connect through ports like Singapore and Kuala Lumpur to get to and from from the West Australian City.
Vietjet flight VJ89, an Airbus A321 departed Ho Chi Minh City at 6:49am local time and touched down just 6.5 hours later in Perth at 14:25 WST.
