Vietjet Starts Phu Quoc Island-Taipei Flights

Vietjet has welcomed the inaugural flights connecting Phu Quoc island, Vietnam’s trending leisure paradise to Taiwan’s economic hub Taipei. The new service will offer more opportunities for the development of tourism and trade between the two localities and in the region. 

The Phu Quoc – Taipei service is a daily return flight and the flight from Phu Quoc to Taipei departs at 8:25 and lands at 13:00. The return service takes off at 14:00 and arrives in Phu Quoc at 16:50 (All local times). 

Phu Quoc, the famous coastal city in southern Vietnam, is known for its pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, picturesque sunsets,  and a range of outdoor activities, Phu Quoc has become a popular destination for tourists seeking relaxation and natural beauty.

It boasts renowned landmarks such as Hon Thom Nature Park, Sao Beach, Bai Truong Beach and Kiss Bridge Phu Quoc, etc. while offering an abundance of world-class luxury resorts. Foreign travellers visiting Phu Quoc can enjoy the visa exemption scheme for up to 30 days.

To welcome the new route, Vietjet is running a ticket promotion for all international routes, with fares as low as just USD0 (exclusive of tax and fees) on every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday until February 10, 2024. Promotional tickets are up for grabs at www.vietjetair.com or the Vietjet Air mobile app, with the flight time from now to December 31, 2024 (exclusive of public holidays, and peak times)

Vietjet operates direct services linking Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi to Taipei, Kaohsiung and Taichung, together with the  Can Tho – Taipei and Taipei – Phu Quoc services.
