Yeti Airlines Crash In Nepal, Many Feared Dead

A Yeti Airlines ATR 72 with 72 people aboard has crashed near Pokhara airport in central Nepal and 16 bodies have been recovered, with all feared to be lost.

The ATR 72 plane was flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara and crashed before landing in a dive to the left in perfect weather.

NTSB Slams Ethiopian MAX Crash Report

There were 68 passengers on board the Yeti Airlines flight, including 10 foreign nationals, and four crew members, Reuters reports. The vision below shows the plane stalling (aerodynamic) and rolling to the left and diving into the ground.

Pashupati Timalsina who has been at the crash site said the aircraft "was destroyed and there appear to be no survivors."

The flight number was YT691. The ATR 72-212A(500), carried the registration 9N-ANC and was destroyed.
