Vietjet is ramping up its direct services between Australia and Vietnam, reflecting the rising demand for travel across the two countries. The low-cost carrier, recently recognized by AirlineRatings in its 2025 Sustainability Awards, will offer more frequent flights connecting Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane with Ho Chi Minh City.
The updated schedules are:
Melbourne – Ho Chi Minh City: increasing to six flights per week from 11 November 2025 and daily from 6 December.
Sydney – Ho Chi Minh City: increasing to six flights per week from 13 November and daily from 7 December.
Brisbane – Ho Chi Minh City: increasing to five flights per week from 6 December.
From October 2025, services linking Melbourne and Sydney with Hanoi will operate via connections in Ho Chi Minh City, offering Australian travellers seamless access not only to Vietnam’s capital but also to other popular destinations and key cities across Asia-Pacific through Vietjet’s expanding network.
