Vietjet once again one the world's safest low cost airlines

Vietjet has been once again been listed in AirlineRatings.com Top 10 safest low-cost airlines for 2022 from the 385 global airlines monitored the world's only airline safety, product, and COVID rating website. In making its evaluation, AirlineRatings considers a range of criteria including incident records over two years, crash records over five years, fleet age, results of audits conducted by the governing body of aviation, the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), and other aviation authorities. Vietjet Managing Director Dinh Viet Phuong said: “We are proud to keep up with the top safety ranking in the global aviation industry. "It was the first private airline in Vietnam to offer domestic and international services and the airline has now carried more than 90 million passengers and covered over 116 routes across the Asia-Pacific region.  "VietJet Air has been awarded the highest ranking for safety with 7-stars since 2018. It is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) with the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certificate and technical reliability rate standing at 99.64%.  "Vietjet is especially recognized for massive investment into new fleet, system upgrade, and technology adoption to ensure safety in operation and meet passengers’ evolving and convenient flight demand.” Vietjet is constantly investing in aircraft engine and MRO services, aviation technology’s transfer and adoption with leading providers in the industry such as Safran, Rolls-Royce, SR Technics, Swiss-AS, etc. to ensure the highest standard in terms of safety and quality.
