Sure, flying is a bit of a challenge right now but soon the world will be freely available for us all again but will you be ready with thousands of frequent flyer points to spend getting to your dream destination? And which airline has the most international connections to get you there? Qatar Airways, which has kept the international airways open throughout the pandemic is the way to go. So now is a great time to sign up for Qatar Airways Privilege Club Frequent Flyer program which has a host of innovative benefits and incentives to make it as easy as possible to earn and use points. Privilege Club offers four membership tiers – Burgundy, Silver, Gold, and Platinum – each with its own exclusive benefits. Privilege Club benefits include but are not limited to;  book and manage your future flights with ease, book award tickets and cabin upgrades with Qmiles, Pooled Qmiles earned by nominated family members; Priority when wait-listed and Shop & Pay with Qmiles; lounge access*; Extra baggage allowance*. READ: Qatar Airways world's best airline for 2021 One of the new ways to earn points and spend Qmiles is with Hotel & Car Rewards. Privilege Club members will be able to use their Qmiles to book a stay at one of more than 350,000 hotels or rent a car at over 20,000 locations worldwide including hundreds in Australia. Members also earn Qmiles on every cash travel booking they make. At the launch of Hotel and Car Rewards in May Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker said: “At Qatar Airways, we are continually striving to enhance Privilege Club and offer our members more value and opportunities to earn and spend Qmiles. “We also want to make the experience of earning and spending Qmiles as seamless as when our loyalty members travel with us across the globe. Hotel & Car Rewards provides our members’ convenient ways to spend for hotel stays and car rentals using Qmiles or to use a combination of Qmiles with Cash.” Last year, Qatar Airways’ Privilege Club was one of the first airline loyalty programs to announce a tier extension offer of up to 12 months to its members, and, earlier this year, Privilege Club honored further protection of tier status until 31 December 2021. It also revised its Qmiles policy so that when a member earns or spends them, their balance is valid for further 36 months. Airbus Over the past year, Privilege Club has continued to invest in redefining the program, including cutting the number of Qmiles required to book award flights by up to 49 percent as well as removing booking fees for award flights. Something that is sometimes overlooked is that Qatar Airways is a oneworld member, which means earning/spending Qmiles is possible with partner airlines such as Qantas, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, and British Airways. Moving up the membership tiers is easy, Qpoints earned within any 12-month period are evaluated daily to determine your eligibility for a tier upgrade. The higher your membership tier, the more benefits you will enjoy. If you do not have enough Qmiles for an Award ticket, award upgrade on Qatar Airways, or excess baggage, you can buy additional Qmiles to top up your existing balance online. You can purchase Qmiles in blocks of 1,000 with the following conditions;
  • Buy up to 250,000 Qmiles per calendar year;
  • You must have earned a minimum of 1,000 Qmiles from your date of enrolment before you can purchase additional Qmiles;
  • The purchase of Qmiles is non-refundable;
  • The price for “Buy Qmiles” transactions will be based on the number of Qmiles bought at any given transaction. This means the more you buy, the less you pay per Qmile;
  • Purchase a block of 1,000 Qmiles starting from 35 USD and going as low as 30 USD depending on the number of Qmiles bought in a transaction.
Join Privilege Club today and enjoy 3,000 bonus Qmiles upon enrolment, plus an additional 2,000 Qmiles on your first flight as a member. Terms and conditions apply. Click here to join. **Exclusive for Silver, Gold, and Platinum membership tier.
