This week GT's Radar slams some Jetstar passengers who are whinging about getting a full refund after a flight from Bangkok to Melbourne was diverted to Alice Springs for a medical emergency.
GT's Radar points out that Alice Springs does not have customs and quarantine nor does it have the equipment to unload a Boeing 787.

There was a technical issue after landing and the passengers were delayed for over seven hours while a replacement aircraft was sought. The baggage was further delayed until a repair to the 787 was affected.
Incredibly a few passengers are demanding a full refund.
Jetstar operates 1750 flights a week and over 1/3 of fares are below $100.
