BermudAir; Bermuda's Premier Airline has commenced operations, connecting Bermuda with Boston and Westchester, New York. This distinguished airline, dedicated to providing an exceptional travel experience for all passengers, boasts an all-aisle cabin class and exclusively operates Embraer 175 aircraft on routes connecting Bermuda to various destinations in the United States. Whether you're a tourist or a business traveler, BermudAir offers a fresh gateway to Bermuda from the East Coast.

Routes
Embracing a vision akin to La Compagnie in the transatlantic market, BermudAir has embarked on its journey to capture the premium travel market. The airline recently initiated services between Bermuda's L. F. Wade International Airport and Boston's Logan International Airport, as well as Westchester County Airport.

BermudAir's third service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is scheduled for takeoff on September 22. Flights to Boston and Westchester will operate six times a week, with the exception of Tuesdays. However, starting September 15, BermudAir will enhance its Westchester service to twice daily from Monday through Thursday to Sunday, maintaining a once-daily schedule on Tuesday and Wednesday.

While BermudAir directly competes with JetBlue on the Boston route, it stands as the exclusive airline operating between Westchester and Bermuda. Positioned in proximity to the New York City area, Westchester Airport aims to attract travelers from the bustling metropolis. Notably, all three major carriers, including JetBlue, offer flights to Bermuda from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport, LaGuardia Airport, and Newark.

Fleet
BermudAir has acquired two Embraer 175 aircraft, bearing registration numbers VQ-BLW and VQ-BLU, both originally delivered to the now-defunct FlyBe. The current cabin configuration features 44 all-aisle seats. However, the airline has exciting plans to introduce an upgraded premium product, set to debut on flights starting November 1st of this year.

The enhanced cabin will introduce 30 pod-like seats, each providing direct aisle access, along with a dedicated workspace and dining area, accompanied by ample overhead bin space. Passengers can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and in-flight entertainment. To further elevate the onboard experience, BermudAir offers complimentary food and beverages throughout the journey.

Market Potential
BermudAir sees significant potential in capturing a substantial market share. In an official statement, the airline highlighted that 85% of travelers arriving in Bermuda do so via the United States. The remaining 15% originate from various other countries, with a portion arriving through British Airways' daily service from London Heathrow.
Remarkably, over one-third of all travelers arriving in Bermuda do so via one of the New York airports. With the introduction of its twice-daily service to Westchester in mid-September, BermudAir is poised to capitalize on this sizable segment of travelers, further enhancing Bermuda's connectivity and accessibility.
