Air Niugini flies Boeing 767s and 737s and Dash 8 turboprops across Papua New Guinea and the Pacific. Cabins are tired and catering is basic, which is the main reason for the rating. A fleet renewal with Airbus A220s and Boeing 787s has been announced but deliveries are slow. Domestic services into remote airfields remain very basic.
