Air New Zealand is a full-service carrier with the best economy product in the sky, and one of the few airlines where economy is a reason to book rather than a compromise. It won World's Best Economy Class in the 2026 Airline Ratings awards. Economy includes meals, blankets, pillows and seatback entertainment, and the Skycouch on the Boeing 787 and 777 turns a row of three seats into a flat surface 1.55 metres long. Business Premier is a flat bed with direct aisle access, and a 787 retrofit is adding the roomier Business Premier Luxe seat and Skynest bunks. Domestic flights on turboprops are more basic, with no premium cabin or entertainment.
