Economy Class

We were delayed for 10 hours for our flight from Manchester to Alicante on the 21st June 2016 - we applied for compensation on the 30th June 2016 and are still fighting our case. After I received my letter of rejection of compensation I asked them to explain what the extraordinary circumstances were for the flight to be delayed - they didn't answer the question - instead they said that they will pay out compensation to us but would not discuss how much. I am still trying to find out how much they are paying - 2 months later and nothing has been paid in to our accounts. Subject to the EU 261/2004 regulations we have worked out that the airline owe us 600.00 euros each plus expenses. This is the amount I have been asking for but they have declined to confirm how much we will be receiving - they have our bank details and still no compensation has been received. They keep telling us that it is up to finance to deal with it. I will not be flying with this airline again.
