n November we flew from Dulles to Johannesburg. The flight was great, the staff very attentive and the food was excellent. My original reservation, made through Priceline, was changed, which resulted in a 9-hour layover in Istanbul rather than the original 3-hour layover. That meant we got to Johannesburg later than originally scheduled and resulted in having to drive after dark in unfamiliar territory to get to our destination. The seats were very uncomfortable and we felt a little like sardines in a can. Other than that, our experience was great and we would fly Turkish Air again.
