Jetstar review by Philip 2014-10-31

JQ29 MEL-BKK 21/10/14 & JQ30 BKK-MEL 28/10/14 both flights Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Straight past a line of about 200 people to the business baggage check in at MEL. Boarding out bound flight delayed about 50 minutes, but arrived BKK 20 minutes early so no major issue. Cabin standard/presentation good although perhaps not surprising being such a new aircraft. Seating, food & standards of service all good on both flights. Business class on Jetstar as with other discount airlines really equates to premium economy on a full service airline.I cannot speak for economy customers but Jetstar is a discount airline & you get what you pay for. I can recommend Jetstar "business" on this route!
