On 25th December we were supposed to fly from Sydney to Cairns at 9pm. 15 minutes before 9pm jetstar announced that the flight was cancelled with some reason that didn't make sense to most of us. We waited at the airport until 11 pm when we found out that our flight was rescheduled for the next day. We already wasted one night of our holidays. Next day our flight was via Brisbane which took the whole day travelling, we left Sydney at 11 am and we reached Cairns at 6 pm. Another day of our holiday was wasted. When we asked Jet star for a refund for the night at the hotel they said it is nothing to do with them. Well, you cancelled the flight which we paid fo long time ago and if we planned to be in Cairns from the 25th not 26th and if we wanted to travel via Brisbane we would have booked it in the first place. On the return to Sydney a very rude staff asked us if we speak fluent English as she was going to give us a seat near the emergency door. We didn't ask for it. Just because we look european does not mean we are retard... on the 3 hours flight cairns to Sydney Jetstar didn't offer nothing, not even a glass of water. Jetstar should be ashamed with their very bad service.
