Qatar Airways review by Venkat 2016-07-27

Qatar airways, you cannot book same day travel. I had to travel on the same day as there was a death in the family. It automatically rolled the day forward and I have to call the agent to cancel the ticket $200 as the change fee and difference in fare was more then cancel and re-book. No free cancellation in 24 hours. They did not wave the fee even though I booked a ticket for the same day with agent and the online website did not allow. If you have to cancel < 3 hours before flight you will be charged $250 no show fee and $200 Cancellation fee. Food in economy was bad, steam in the food built up and had water at the bottom of the food. First time I felt hungry the portions we very small for a 14 hour flight from DOH to ATL. I see most airline server food and then drinks, Qatar tried to do both at the same time took forever. No snack or fruit available. DOH airport was great to transit well maintained.
