We got completely screwed with seat assignments. We bought our tickets 8 months in advance and were not given the option to pick seats online when we booked. Our trip had three legs, one from Washington Dulles to JFK, the second one from JFK to Taipei, and the third one from Taipei to Hanoi. When we checked in in Dulles, the agent at the gate gave us TWO SEATS APART FROM EACH OTHER, both IN THE MIDDLE. This is a 14 hour flight! Of course no one would trade with us because we both have super crappy seats. And the airline would not do anything about it. I was in tears and super disappointed. We will NEVER book with this airline again. The seats were uncomfortable, not too much leg room. The food was fine, nothing that blew anyone away. NEVER AGAIN'
