I have flown with BA for decades and everything about the experience has been steadily declining. Recently they have cynically used their customer history data about me to assign me my least favourite seat of choice, forcing me to pay for a seat that I used to be able to select as part of the price of my ticket. But worse than that, their punctuality has been consistently terrible. They somehow manage to run flight after flight that is late enough to ruin my trip home to see my kids or my working day, but just not quite late enough for compensation to kick in. I'm done with BA. There comes a point at which you can only take so many insults heaped on your head with numbing regularity and a complete refusal to deal with complaints. BA is the new Ryanair.
