What a surprise to receive a tap on the shoulder by flight attendant Arnold and be asked to follow him together with my husband to the back of the plane. What awaited was a tray of delicious desserts and fruit as a celebration for our 32nd wedding anniversary. A hand made card from the staff together with origami folded white and black cranes added to the presentation. In all our years of travelling we have never experienced anything like this before on any airlines, and it certainly enhanced our special day! Thank you Arnold for your thoughtfulness and you are a true credit to Qatar, and this has confirmed my belief that often life is not about the destination but about the journey and the interesting and caring people you meet along the way.
