I have flown frequently with Delta (diamond medallion) and had mixed experiences before putting aside the fact that most flight attendants are very rude and economy seats are stone hard. The last experiences I had were horrible and I am taking my business elsewhere so should you. On a 5 days international trip I had booked that had a connection, the long haul flight was cancelled due to airline's failure. By the time I was informed of it I had already flown the first leg (1 hour flight) so I requested to be flown back to the original city I departed from since the alternative they presented meant my trip would have been shortened to two days. I was baffled to hear that they would be charging me so they can take me back to where I came from. They refused to fly me back unless I agree to pay and I refused to pay and instead drove back by renting a car. This was the last drop in the bucket. What was worse is the way the Delta employees handled a situation for a customer that has an elite status. Amazing!
