Economy Class

My son and I traveled to Perth on 24/12/2015. Check in was quick and efficient. Cabin crew seemed to be somewhat disorganized but tried their best. There was not enough food to go around with people having to accept the vegetarian offer in order to eat. This happened twice! No snacks were offered during the flight and if you wanted an additional drink you had to go and ask for one. Lots of people were pressing the hostess button for service which only added to the pressure the crew were already under. In-flight entertainment pretty poor in choice for such a long journey. Air-con was very cold with lots of people asking for a second blanket. It was Christmas Day, you would never have thought it. Earlier in the year I traveled to Perth with Qatar Airlines and I have to say their act and professionalism is so much higher up the scale. Next time it will either be Qatar or Emirates. Sorry Etihad but your 'Economy' class is exceptionally poor service for such a lot of money. J. Taylor 26/12/2015
